We are looking for a proactive and fast-thinking Junior Business Analyst who is eager to connect business teams, technology teams, and customers, keep projects moving forward, and make sure the team delivers solutions on time and with impact.
Key Responsibilities
Requirement Analysis and Management
- Act as a gatekeeper, asking challenging questions to uncover real business needs and prevent unnecessary or “nice-to-have” development
- Gather, clarify, and structure requirements from clients and internal teams into actionable deliverables (e.g. User stories, Acceptance criteria, Process flows).
Proactive Coordination and Multi-Directional Communication
- Drive communication with different stakeholders (clients, development teams, and internal teams such as Operations, Sales, and Finance) in a clear, concise, and actionable way
- Organize meetings, document outcomes, assign next steps, and ensure every action item has a clear owner and deadline.
Agile and Scrum Facilitation
- Perform the role of Scrum Master: facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Collaborate closely with the development team: follow up daily, remind deadlines, clarify blockers, and escalate when necessary
- Work with the Product Manager to manage and prioritize the product backlog.
Candidate Requirements
Knowledge and Experience
- At least one year of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role.
- A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
- Experience in system integration projects and working with multiple external partners is a plus
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum frameworks, as well as the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Comfortable using Agile project management tools such as Jira and Confluence to manage tasks, maintain sprint boards, and document progress.
Core Skills
- Analytical Thinking & Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a growth mindset that embraces challenges and continuous learning
- Communication: Clear and respectful communication skills — able to summarize discussions, track decisions, and clarify next steps in meetings
- Stakeholder Management and Facilitation: Strong skills in coordinating diverse groups, encouraging quieter voices, managing expectations, and balancing multiple perspectives
- Proactive Ownership: High sense of responsibility, takes initiative, and ensures follow-ups happen without waiting for instructions.
Bonus Skills (nice to have)
- Basic data analysis skills (SQL, Excel, Google Sheets)
- Foundational knowledge of UI/UX design
- Scrum certifications such as Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) are a plus.
