Here's your mission
Engineering Manager generally oversees the development, implementation and maintenance of technological company systems and processes, including troubleshooting any potential issues.
Here’s what you will do day-to-day

Maintain, drive, supervise and implement robust technical standards, systems and processes

Influence technology strategies and decisions with a high-level of expertise and knowledge

Lead a team of staff developing products, and address training needs when necessary
-
Coordinate the regular testing of products to address faults, and provide evaluations in order to improve them
-
Optimizing and improving processes and the overall approach where necessary
-
To co-ordinate with CTO or Tech lead in project technical matter
-
To co-ordinate with CTO to define/tailoring software development process, guide and train team members on software development & other supporting processes utilized and ensure the strict implementation of the process
-
Act as a key contact with stakeholders who have technical issues
-
To perform other tasks requested by CTO
Here's who we are looking for
-
At least 5-years experience in backend development, at least 3-years experience in Technical Leader/Technical Project Manager

Good in at least one of these languages/platforms: Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot

Understanding of Product Development, Frontend Development (Especially with React) is big plus.

Experienced in building employee's career development and process is a plus

Good communication skills, both written and verbal

Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and under your own initiative

Problem solving skills, analytical skills and the ability to make decisions quickly

Organizational and team leader skills

Knowledge of process improvement and validation

Knowledge of regulatory standards relevant to your industry

The ability to investigate and identify trends
